Advertising decides what you see and who gets paid, and it answers to actors serving themselves. Downstream: populations stop sharing a reality, and conflict follows — "fake news" the accelerant, weaponized until true and false cease being distinguishable. A captured record poisons everything trained on it, machine intelligence included. We are downstream of it too. Parallax Drift exists to repair that lexicon and pay creators sustainably.

We're taking the platform apart into modules that stand on their own and can be read by anyone. Open-sourcing is work, not an announcement. Expect a mirror.

The target is January, with the November midterms in between. Infrastructure deciding what people may see should be owned by a distributed collective, not by anyone who can be pressured — which is why the date is not negotiable.
